I'm satisfied with this mirror, so far. I am curious to see if the rubber between the mirror and the SS mirror structure lasts in our extremely hot and extremely cold weather. The previous one, nearly exactly like the new one, fell apart, mostly due to the rubber coming completely out of the mirror hold permitting the mirror to shatter on the ground when i closed the driver's side door. I suspect the rubber was affected by our desert mountain weather.
