Works like original equipment on a 2012 Chevy 2500HD. Only issue was the wiring harness is about 3" shorter than the original mirror's harness so was challenging to get connected to the door. Other than that works fine once installed."

Mirror went on easily. Once you realize that the plug in goes all the way to the controls on the door handle and that piece snaps out of the handle easily. Have had it on for a couple of weeks now and works great!
