I purchased this mirror, and I am satisfied that I got what I paid for. Not familiar with auto dimming as I've never noticed if it responds differently than the OEM. Fit isn't spot on for the OEM but that also could be due to the shop that repaired the door and installed it. All functions other than the auto dim work as the OEM. Somewhat less than 50% less than OEM pricing as I recall. I figure I'm the only one to see the less than 100% perfect fit, and I am somewhat particular. I would buy this again over OEM.
