I installed these mirrors on a 1996 GMC K1500 SLE. Power, no heat, no power folding, no dimming. Fitment was perfect. No distortion of the mirror portion in any way. Looked like OEM mirrors. The foam gasket that goes between the mirror and the body of the truck did not fit very well compared to the thick rubber OEM gasket, but my OEM gasket was still in great shape so I reused it. Great mirrors, and shipping was fast. Power connector was exactly like OEM connector. I would buy again and recommend these mirrors for an OEM replacement.

I purchased this unit to replace the broken driver's left-side mirror on my 1995 Chev Silverado. It has been in service about a year so far and there are no vibration problems noted at any time. The only slight variance is that the swivel mechanism that allows the mirror unit to fold may be slightly less 'beefy' than the GM OEM part it replaces, but that's not been problematic so far. Certainly the price is right and I can recommend this unit as a good and economical replacement choice for use on any contemporaneous GM or Chevrolet light truck.

I bought two mirrors for a 97 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, more than 2 years ago. They are as good, as my factory mirrors. I should’ve bought them 10 years ago. My the factory mirrors have been broken for 10 years, I glued them, taped them, then I bought these mirrors. No more problems!!!

No it should fold with a little pressure on the outside edge of the mirror in the direction of the hinge. Don’t force it, but if you’re trying to fold it before mounted on the truck it would be hard to do.

Question: I have a 1994 Chevrolet Suburban Silverado. I need a driver side outside mirror as the mechanism in the mirror no longer operates. Is there a way to now if the mirror is heated or not?Ronald H. / Jun 18, 2021
Hi Ronald, I'm glad to help you out. Yes, there are. You can activate your windshield defroster and see if the mirror heats up. They activate using the same switch. You can also take out the mirror glass and see if there's a heating element on the back of it. Use the link below to order this part once you've confirmed yours is non-heated.
