The mirror was a good fit and it is functional, but I was dissapointed with the quality of the plastic and the mirror lens is poorly or cheaply mounted in the housing. The mirror lens shakes really bad while driving which makes it hard to use when all the objects in the mirror are shaking. The plastic part is tolerable given it's an inexpensive replacement but the finish doesn't match OEM. I've seriously considered buying something else the shaking is so bad. I would recommend a better product.
An aside, I also wish I could have gotten the auto dimming, but I didn't see that option available.

Hi Kevin,
The shape of the housing is different compared to the 1st design. The other design has sharper corners while this is more rounded.

Hi Justin, I'm glad to assist you. As it turns out, we do not have information on the difference. We recommend you call your local dealership and provide the GM OEM part number of this mirror which is 15105940. You have to provide the complete VIN of your truck as well, so the dealership can provide you with the original (OEM) part number of the mirror you have.
