This part was exactly what I needed. It was so simple to install. I did have to buy a 10mm socket and a 3/8” adapter for my 1/2” socket drive, but finding those at the hardware store was the hardest part of this install. Other than that, it was only about a two minute job following instructions I got on YouTube. The auto-adjustment works perfectly. After driving around without a passenger side mirror for two months, it’s quite a relief to have one again and I wish I had done it sooner. I put it off for quite a while because I thought it would be more difficult! Lol. I am a woman in my early 30s trying to take more initiative when it comes to taking care of/repairing my vehicle, and I will definitely come back to <a href="http://carparts.com" target="_blank">carparts.com</a> if I need anything else in the future.

The finish is smooth plastic black, unpainted yet and no primer still. We don't do painting on our body parts. We suggest having it painted locally so they can correctly match the shade of your paint.
