I would give this 5 stars. Exact part that I needed, delivery was on time. My only exception is that the part didn't include new nuts, washers, bolts or gaskets for either end of the assembly. Maybe include those with the assembly and add to the cost. Other than that, Good job and I thank all of y'all.

I did need to trim the hanger in the center by a half inch and cut a corner of the hanger off to keep it from hanging on the bottom of the car but it works as intended. not a perfect product but works for the price

Had no problem replacing a rusted muffler on my girlfriend's 2004 Subi Impreza. I realized, though, after pulling off the old one, that it had rusted apart in the spot where they put a few inch extension on it (???) and I was confused as to why they had to do that in the first place.
As I was putting the new (this) one on, I realized that it was a little short, and I had to pull the rear muffler and tailpipe as far forward as they could go to connect it (about 1.5-2 inches foward). No harm, and it might be just my specific problem. Now the rubber drop connectors are slanted far foward.
Regardless, the part is quality and works perfectly, as described. Dropped on star because of the shortness, but if I get confirmation of the part length vs the stock exhaust setup (and if it is just like that) ill give it the extra star.

As to the part you received, the overall length of the part we’ve sent you is 51”, I tried to search for the overall length of a stock muffle but I was not able to find the exact dimension. However, we can assure you that the part is a direct replacement parts, it is designed to function the same, may not be physically identical to the original, but there are some instances that it even worked better than the OE parts.

Yes, this is the resonator mid pipe assembly and this is a guaranteed fit for your 2003 Subaru Impreza RS 4 Cyl 2.5L. We do not have the diameter data readily available and it is not mentioned on our product details anymore since this is a direct fit part only designed for the selected vehicle application-in this case for the 2002 to 2005 Subaru Impreza RS 4 Cyl 2.5L. The part specifications/dimension is exactly the same compared to the OEM factory original of this vehicle application selected.
