First and foremost, you need to find a Kool Vue Polished – Universal dual muffler that’s fits your vehicle exhaust pipe (outside diameter specifications) Then ou can tone it down by adding a Vibrant Performance 1141 - Vibrant Performance Ultra-Quiet Resonators. Search for the model that is compatible with your Pathfinder. This combination is on point in this configuration. Worked fine on 04 Pontiac Sunfire 2.2l, 4 cylinder, it may be what you're looking for, if you're willing to replace your factory install resonator. If will cost you a little more money for part and install. Hope this helps you....

It was put into a Nissan 300ZX and it is a little loud. If I was driving it quite often it would bother me but since it is parked most of the time it is not a big deal for me. They are well made, very nice.

If you like loud mufflers got the impression it was quite NOPE had to go to a muffler shop to buy another one that’s way quieter waisted my money ughhhhh

Hi Yancey, I'm glad to assist you. It is a universal type of muffler upgrade with 2.25 inches inlet pipe diameter. If the main piping of your exhaust is 2.25 inches, this will match.
