Hi Richard, I'm glad to assist you. The inlet and outlet pipe diameter is 2.5-inch. The overall length is 37.50 inches, the width is 9-inches, and the height is 7-inches, with an oval-shaped body. This direct-fit muffler fits from 1998 to 2002 Dodge Ram 1500/2500/3500 3.9L/5.2L/5.9L, without a sports package. Answered by Jeonino E. / Thu, Aug 18The inlet and outlet are both 4" long, the body is 30" (38" if you include in/outlets). The O.D. of the in/outlets is 2-5/8", the body oval is 11-1/2" x 7". The gauge of the metal required welding as u-bolt style clamps weren't strong enough to get a good seal. Great muffler though. Hope this helps.
