These struts/shocks improved the handling of my Cadillac sts. Very slight stiffness over the stock (sachs). Main reason for replacement of stock struts was due to a faint squeak/ rattle coming from the struts. This was difficult to diagnose because the struts performed normally except for the intermittent noise coming from the front. Sounded like a loose worn bushing, but I couldn't find anything worn or loose. Replacing with the KYB corrected my problems. Not difficult to replace if you have a spring compressor.
