Question: I think I have located the speed sensor on my 2012 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 and believe this is the part. I wonder if you could give me a picture of where it is located on the car so that I can ensure it’s what I think it is before I purchase this product. Also, I read somewhere that this part needs to be programmed once replaced, is there a video or instructions somewhere to be able to do this? When I look on YouTube tube it shows me every vehicle except a 2012 Chevy Tahoe. And is there a special tool needed in order to remove the old one and put a new one on?Belienda S. / Oct 05, 2024
Hi Belienda, I'm glad to assist you. We do not have a picture showing where that part is located. The Chevy pickup truck/SUV is typically located in the transmission bell housing. Please refer to a vehicle-specific repair manual to confirm those details or consult with your trusted local auto repair shop. You can also refer to online video-sharing websites (such as YouTube/Dailymotion) for DIY parts install tutorials. This part typically does not need programming (it is a plug-and-play part).
