The new Cardone rack doesn't have a place to mount the heat shield is this correct? Is Cardone rack supposed to have a mounting place for the heat shield?Curt8 / Dec 16, 2023
Hi Curt, I'm glad to assist you. If you selected the correct vehicle application, it is compatible. The heat shield is an extra protection. If the new steering rack has no mounting for it, you can do away with the heat shield. That is an option for you. I checked our listing and we do not carry a steering rack with a heat shield mounting.
