Hello –
It looks like, on your Jeep, push pins are holding the tail light assembly in place. You can try carefully removing these push-pins with a flathead screwdriver or you can use a dedicated push-pin removal tool (recommended).
The owner’s manual for your Jeep has instructions for removing the tail light to access the tail light bulb. Taking a look at these instructions will help you get started on replacing the entire tail light assembly.

Answered by Andrew B. / Wed, Sep 15I had a co worker into cars and i asked him to do it or you could ask a friend. it was hard but you have to remove the lining and the grommets were hard to take out almost messed them up and then you could see all the screws and bolts holding it together and remove and put the new one in place and put the rest back. it was easy but difficult location to reach into and hard to remove the grommets but over all not too difficult. if you know someone lol.
