Hi, Upon checking, this driver side tail light has halogen light source.You can simply replace the halogen bulb with an LED. Most LED bulbs are now designed to retrofit to the existing light fittings.

Question: The border around my 2016 Compass Latitude rear driver side tail light is much darker than your illustration for part no. REPJ730144. It looks like your Part No: REPJ730143. Is this a  correct representation or does it look like the passenger side replacement?Lawrence P. / Jul 30, 2020
Hello! Based on pictures in the reviews, I believe this unit has the darker trim that matches your factory light. I think the lighting in our photos makes it look lighter.
