Tailgate for 2005 Tundra
Part fit perfectly and was a simple repair. Tailgate came primed ready to paint with the usual cleaning prep.
I initially had an issue that the first tailgate came damaged. They were super reasonable with the replacement and I am impressed with their level of customer service. Real person on the phone facilitated the return/replacement and was SUPER helpful. I wish other businesses I routinely deal with were this on top of things.
I’d give them 6 stars if I could.

Tailgate skin, as described. You'll need all the hardware from your old tailgate. Otherwise, hole alignment and fit were spot on. No five stars due to delivery issues and carparts.con failing to issue a replacement without me bugging them several times. Finally arrived a couple weeks later.

My Tundra is a 2005, a couple of years newer than yours but with the same body. The lower edge of the tailgate had rusted but everything else was OK, so I ordered part number T580503 for $103.94 and transferred the mechanism and bed liner to it. Worked fine!
If your Limited is good would you consider selling it?

However, this item is incompatible with the 2004 Toyota Tundra double cab (crew cab). This item is for the access cab (extended cab) model.
