I'm an 80 year old woman that appreciates the knowledge and friendless of the folks at Car Parts.Gm Original Equipment Series Transmission Control Module - Direct Fit, Sold Individually

I have a 2003 Saturn Vue V6. Saturn parts are very difficult to find because Saturn stopped manufacturing several years ago. However, Car Parts has been able to provide what I needed. If I didn't love this vehicle so much, I'd stop spending money on it. CarParts, however, doesn't charge so much for the parts I've purchased that I can't justify keeping "my baby" running!!

Question: Do I have to get it program before I replace with new one?Kenneth M. / Jul 12, 2024
Hi Kenneth, thanks for initiating contact. Yes, It is best to have the TCM programmed before installation. The dealership, manufacturer, or shop with equivalent tools will need your VIN to flash or program. The module needs to be tailored to your specific vehicle's parameters, such as engine type, transmission type, and other vehicle-specific data.
