Pulled out the battery and intake to get to this part. Needed a jack to hold up the tranny. Kinda tough to get to the nuts and bolts. Took almost 2 hours.

Answered by Andrew B. / Sun, Mar 12I believe this is only for the 6speed auto, which became available in 2005. Personally, I don’t know if the transmission cases are different, but the 6 speed is made by Aisin not Mazda, so I would expect that the they are different including the mount.
