Hi Tom, The variable valve timing solenoid is located at the front of the engine, typically near the front of the valve cover. Try looking at the new solenoid to match the shape and help you find it. The connector is the exposed end of the variable valve timing solenoid.

It was installed by my very experienced mechanic. As I recall, he had no trouble doing the job. Also, the time required was minimal, approximately 20 minutes maximum.

It took 10 minutes to put on. There are 3 10mm bolts nd do buy hand. Nnnnoooooo power tools u with break the bolts
