Stabilitrak - ABS & TCS Lights both on and stay on.
I recently bought and installed this product. When I was disconnecting the old wheel hub wire connection my dash lit up with stabilitrak, abs light and tcs light. I thought it was just because nothing was plugged in so I put the new wheel hub on and I connected it and nothing happened. Then I unplugged the new wheel hub turned the truck off, plugged it in and then turned it on and still nothing happened. Any idea on how to fix this?Colin C. / Dec 30, 2023
Hi Colin, I'm glad to assist you. There are a few possible reasons why your truck, 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500's Stabilitrak, ABS, and TCS lights are illuminated and staying on after you replaced the wheel hub:
1. Faulty speed sensor.
2. Improper wheel hub installation.
3. Damage wheel hub sensor wiring.
4. An issue with the ABS module.
Still, it is best to use an OBD-II scanner to retrieve any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) stored by the ECU. These codes can indicate the specific sensor or system malfunctioning. I hope this helps!
