The wiper in my 91 Chevy k2500 truck with 80k miles wouldn't turn on unless I opened the hood and banged on the housing. So with a lot of hassle I replaced it with a not so cheap aftermarket re-manufactured unit. That worked for a while but then wouldn't turn off once it started! Rather than go through the hassle of replacing the whole assembly again I ordered this control board. It was easy to install (3 torx screws) without removing the wiper motor assembly and of better quality than the control board in the re-manufactured unit. It fixed the problem instantly. If only I had known previously that you could replace just the control board I probably could have done that instead of messing with replacing the whole wiper unit.
