8 Steps to Air Duct Hose Replacement

Step 2: Make sure that your engine as well as the other heat-generating under-the-hood components are completely cooled before touching anything. Pop the hood open already to help dissipate heat.
Step 3: When the engine has completely cooled down, reach for the car battery in order to disconnect the engine from the electrical source. Unplug first the negative terminal which you would most probably find as black. After which, unplug the red one or the positive terminal.
