While the fifth generation of the Ram 1500 truck currently sold in the market is already a total steal for consumers, the company still won’t stand idly by and watch its rivals come up with the latest upgrades and packages for their respective models.
But despite its many accolades including the prestigious North American Truck of the Year recognition, there are still a good number of customers that Ram can’t win over–those who are not interested in a vehicle that weighs half a ton.
Hence, Ram introduced the 1500 Classic as well as the 1500 Classic Warlock edition earlier this year. Even better, the automaker is also looking to offer the desert-ready Mojave Sand package for the latter.
The package includes black-painted 20-inch aluminum wheels, a sport performance hood, as well as a Mojave Sand exterior paint job. The cabin also now includes an 8.4-inch touchscreen, 7.0-inch in-cluster display that can be customized, and black high-back cloth/vinyl performance seats.
As with all Ram 1500 Classic variants, the Mojave Sand package will be offered in both Quad Cab or Crew Cab configurations. It will also be powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 or an optional 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine, both of which will be mated to a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission.
“The Ram 1500 Classic Warlock continues to prove that value never goes out of style,” Ram Brand Head Reid Bigland said. “With the addition of the popular Mojave Sand exterior paint option, this truck will continue to resonate positively with buyers.”
The Mojave Sand edition of the 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Warlock has a starting price of $53,690, not inclusive of the $1,895 destination charge. Without the Mojave Sand package, the Ram 1500 Classic Warlock is available at $37,040.
