I picked this part as it was the 'medium' priced item of the three offered. The lowest price one was a re-manufactured (of which I'm always wary); the higher priced one was quite a bit more money. The tech who replaced the master cylinder for me (it's a bit beyond my pay/intelligence-grade!) said 'though it was fine and should last about 4/5 years but the top-price one would have outlasted the car...! Opinions? yes, I know - but with the age of our car, this suited just great... AND did the job superbly.
