Hello! The round gasket goes on the side with the oxygen sensor bung.

Answered by Mitchell D. / Mon, Jul 27I think I had another 3 bolt gasket laying around so I ended up using that but I would assume it goes on the output side. The little stub of pipe that extends past the flange would serve to hold the gasket in place during assembly.
