Product Questions & Answers

Q:Camshaft sensor location 1999 jeep wrangler 4-0?
James B.
A:BEST ANSWERHi, The camshaft position sensor is always located near the camshaft, often at the top of the valve cover, but it can also be installed from the side of the cylinder head. Check around the head or valve cover and follow any electrical wires and you will for sure find the camshaft position sensor. Still, we recommend referring to a trusted vehicle specific service repair manual for the location and install procedure. It may require basic automotive knowledge for proper installation.
