Question: Are these plastic or glass lenses? I have a 2020 Civic Sedan and these fog lights have been hit and broken 3x now by rocks since August. Is there a plastic option?Victoria C. / Dec 27, 2020

The lenses are made of glass, similar to the original part that it replaces.

I have a ‘19 Si and broke the fog light from rock chips. The best solution is the Lamin-X fog light covers. They’re a clear wrap (or colored) and protect from debris/rocks, it’s like a screen protector for your phone. Hope this helps!

However, it was only cracked rather than totall shattered like the original ( obviously different rocks/giant-murder-beetles hitting it) and has held up well with only the one big line through the middle.

Answered by Daniel K. / Sun, Dec 27Yeah they’re glass, mine haven’t broke at all and I drive all the time. Haven’t seen any plastic options. Unless you find one the same size and swap the lenses put that’s too much work in my opinion.

Answered by Arnel E. / Fri, Jun 11They don’t provide instructions I would recommend taking it to a Honda dealership or to a mechanic you trust to install the light. I will say though the fog light is awesome I bought two of them from here I’m really happy with the quality.

Answered by Peter K. / Fri, Jun 11Sorry I took it to a mechanic friend to install for me. All I know is he had to take the front bumper off to get to the unit but once that was done it was quick switch.
