Worthless Headlight HousingDriver And Passenger Side Headlights, Without Bulb, Halogen, Clear Lens, Chrome Interior
1.0/5
I was having HID lights installed and decided new headlight housing would help since to old ones were yellow on the inside. I had my mechanic install the parts and these housings turned out to be defective. Every time the mechanic touched any plastic part without much pressure it would break. Therefor the housing would not stay fit into the vehicle. He ended up putting the HID into the old housing. Will order new housing from somewhere else. I would attempt to see about having my money returned, but figure the company will blame the mechanic, where the mechanic blames the product. The mechanic showed me how easily parts broke.

Question: how do i install these head lights on my truck?Richard T. / Oct 27, 2020
Hi George, We recommend referring to a good repair manual for step by step instructions. It may require basic automotive knowledge for proper installation and professional installation is always recommended. You can find more information here: https://www.carparts.com/blog/why-you-should-always-consult-a-repair-manual/

Once the hood is open, remove the plastic cover over the radiator. Use a large screw driver and pry up the two levers just above the head light, they're usually pretty tight. Once you've pulled the levers up, pull the light straight out. Don't forget to remove the lightbulb. It's easier if you remove the turn signal also, it gives you more room to work.

Question: how do you adjust these when the adjusting screw turns?Richard T. / Oct 28, 2020
Hi George, For proper adjustment, please follow these guidelines. Park your vehicle 25 feet from a wall, and place a piece of tape horizontally 4 feet high across the wall in front of your vehicle. Turn the top adjustment screw on the headlights clockwise to raise the beam and counterclockwise to lower the beam. Adjust the headlights so the beam height is two to four inches below the horizontal cross of masking tape. Turn the side adjustment screw to adjust the center of each headlight from side to side.
