No drilling is required. Just remove the rear bumper cover to allow for easier access to the holes to insert the bolts for installation. The bumper cover comes off very easily so don’t be discouraged. It’s very light weight and a friend and I were able to do the hitch install from start to finish in under 10 minutes.

You do not need to drill holes. It's a very simple and quick install. It took me less than 15 minutes.
