Was the perfect fit, re~used the screws which came out of my part....the ones that was in the new part wasn't going to work. This was the 1st of (2) parts which stated were a kit••••>a kit pricing as well. The local parts stores wanted 2 to 3 times what I paid for both parts.

Question: does the ICA valve make the car idle real fast and run a few miles and engine quits running like its out of gas then will run again after cooling down after about 30 min. then stop again after engine warms up agan?Curtis M. / May 09, 2022

Answered by Mia B. / Mon, May 09I think that sounds more like your EGR valve. If you feel underneath it with fingers you can feel the diaphragm. You can push the diaphragm up and down. It may be that you can lubricate it lightly to loosen it from corrosion. Or replace it. But you can test it by moving with fingers while idling.

Hi Drhimes, I'm glad to help you out. The idle air control valve (IAC) is located near the throttle body of the intake manifold. Additional designs include rubber hoses running from the throttle body and an air intake tube with a remote valve. I hope this helps.
