Tools that you'll need:
- Phillips-head screwdriver
- Flathead screwdriver
- Allen wrench set
- Mounting brackets
Step 1: Fasten mounting brackets to the spark plug wire loom. Tighten the brackets lightly so that you can still adjust them later on.
Step 2: Take the bolts off the lower valve cover and connect the loom brackets. Reinstall the bolts and tighten. Next, use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the wire loom screws. Insert an Allen wrench into the screw securing the bottom part of the loom. Pop the loom open.
Step 3: Arrange the spark plug wires by length and carefully place each wire into the loom. Make sure you set the longest wire on top.
Step 4: Press down the wire loom top on the lower panel. Adjust the spark plug wires accordingly to ensure they are secured in the grooves.
Step 5: Secure the top and bottom loom panel with hex-head screws. Insert the screws into the top loom panel and thread them all the way down to the bottom. Before tightening the screws, make sure the loom panels are not gripping the spark plug wires. Tighten all screws properly.
Step 6: Move the newly installed spark plug wire loom to your desired position. Place it far from the hot exhaust so that the wires won't get burned. Tighten all bracket screws to complete the installation.
