It is the exact replica of the light that comes on the 2016 Yukon Denali. I got mine today and it fits perfectly (even used the existing harness.)

Hi Joshua, I'm glad to assist you. If the tail light is showing signs of going bad already. That is typical of parts if you have not replaced that for a long period of time already. Still, you can check the socket connector if there is a wiring plug that has a loose contact or a wiring that is chipped on some portions resulting to having a grounded wiring connection causing it to randomly work or not. Otherwise, it is best to replace the whole assembly if everything has been checked thoroughly. I hope this helps. Answered by Jeonino E. / Mon, May 31This is a common problem with these vehicles and there was a re-call but you had to meet the year/mileage requirement in order for them to assist you with the recall. It's $900+ if you have it done by a dealership. I love my Yukon but not honoring a known recall - no matter the age (I bought mine used and the light worked fine initially) - is rotten. Especially considering the price of these vehicles. I will not buy another GMC product again.

Answered by Diane G. / Wed, Sep 22I have a ‘15 and had the same issue with both sides at different times. I changed them both. Hoping theres no short, but havent had an issue yet. The shifting of this vehicle is what bothers me as well.

Answered by Kevin J. / Mon, May 31I would change it out. It will eventually stop working like my 2015 Denali. You’d think being LED they would last forever but not the case. There’s a thin strip in there that burns out.
