The new water pump came with bolts in all the holes, except one.
We guessed it was because one bolt was longer that the rest.
As it turns out, we had three long bolts. So there were two extra new short bolts for the parts bin.
The pump is running great a week later and we are running the truck without the fan clutch for now. The water pump, radiator and electric fan work well enough.
If we need to do any heavy loads or uphill driving, we may put the clutch fan back on.
It runs so quite without it.
