Five-Minute Tricks to Keeping Your BMW635CSi Clean
Trash has a way of creeping into empty spaces. And in your BMW 635CSi vehicle, chances are there are some pieces of paper or plastic wrapper hidden in there somewhere, tucked away from your eyes, peacefully nestling in their safe corner. The tricky part is this: if you slack off when it comes to car cleaning, those few pieces of paper or candy wrapper will probably pile up anytime soon as passengers bring food inside your car and as you go about your daily business, getting in and out of your vehicle, leaving things somewhere in the car as you disembark until you forget they're there.
Well, you don't have to put up with that. Keeping your vehicle clean is as easy as a few simple tips and tricks, some of which you can do even in under 5 minutes.
- Start by getting rid of trash.
With a plastic bag or a trash bin in hand, you can check various nooks and crannies of your car for some random trash you or a passenger has left there somewhere, sometime. Look between and under the seats, check the glove box and your car console for items that shouldn't be there, and look into the trunk for some sports equipment or some other stuff you probably stowed in there ages ago. Take these out and enjoy a freer, more spacious car.
Dust can accumulate in various parts of your car. Grime can also harden after a while. Meanwhile, spills can cause stain on your leather seats. Therefore, it's important to take time to wipe your vehicle to remove these unsightly elements. Spray the various areas in your ride with the right type of cleaner and wipe them. Depending on the dirt you're trying to remove, going over the seats, dashboard, door handles, and the console with a damp cloth may suffice. If there are spills that have hardened and accumulated on the cup holder, the job may take a longer bit of time to tackle. You may need to soak the area a bit with water or cleaner to allow the grime to soften.
- Take off the floor mats to remove dust.
If you have more time, you can vacuum them. Or if they're already too dirty, you can hose them off. Otherwise, if you just need to remove some light crumbs or dust, you can simply take them off and shake off the mats in order to loosen and remove crumbs, dust, and any type of dirt that doesn't require thorough and heavy-duty cleaning.
- Remember: prevention wins!
You won't need 5 minutes to practice extra care when eating in the car and ensuring that no crumbs fall off or no drink spills. Taking some time to rid your shoes of ice and snow when getting into your car during winter won't be too difficult, too, will it? Dirt accumulation in your BMW 635CSi often starts with mindlessness as a habit, so prevent dirt by anticipating the outcome and avoiding the practice that would cause it.
