Q:I have a part on my 1988 toyota pickup xtra cab, a 22R with electronic fuel injection engine that a mechanic calls "the cold start valve", but I cannot find anything with that particular name for replacement. Is anyone familiar with this part. It runs fuel thru it and is mounted almost centrally on top of the engine on the right side. If the hose is disconnected from it , it actually sprays fuel when you crank the engine after one or It does not allow the vehicle to start first thing in the morning, but if I let the vehicle roll down hill and pop the clutch it will start hesitantly, and then usually self-starts the rest of the day. Sometimes after a few tries. I would appreciate any help that I can get. I am not a mechanic.? Show Less

We do not offer a direct fit replacement cold start valve for the 1988 Toyota Pickup. We suggest getting those locally through a local auto supply store or the dealership. Show less
