Clutch Master Cylinder

Good cylinder
Good master cylinder. Check your o-ring on the metal fluid line to this cylinder before reattaching it. Remove the 2 plastic and 1 metal panels at the driver kneecap area(just below the steering wheel) to have access to the 3 bolts that hold the Jetta clutch pedal assembly to the firewall. One picture I've attached shows the trajectory(indicated by the direction of the yellow screwdriver) that the socket with multiple extensions should take to unbolt the uppermost of the 3 bolts securing the clutch pedal assembly. This bolt was not accessible without removing the lower panels. Use multiple rachet/socket extensions to reach the bolts. Second picture shows the bleed process at the slave cylinder after the new clutch master cylinder was reinstalled.
