Material is good just not as well built as the original. I do like that it is a little bigger on the inside so it doesn't grab your cup every time you take a drink. Fit is ok.

As per checking, this item does not come with installation hardware. We suggest getting those locally through a local auto supply store or the dealership.

Yes, this is a guaranteed fit for your 1999 Dodge Ram 1500, all submodels, 8 cylinder. That is if not on the console that is on the front lower center portion of your dashboard.
