Started in 1946 by founder Bill Whichello, Draw-Tite is a leading brand for custom trailer hitches. With 800 dedicated skilled employees, every hitch designed is placed under extensive tests to become Tested Tough™. Integrated with Hitch Match™, an accessory pairing guide, and with an increased tongue weight capacity, Draw-tite is the choice for a reliable service. For safety and maximum strength, the hitches are tailor-fitted to vehicle-specific weight specifications and model year to ensure precise fit and safe towing experience. All constructions are welded while computer-aided design and fatigue stress testing are conducted to make sure that the hitches will withstand road abuse under specified conditions. Depending on the circumstance, some cutting or drilling maybe needed, otherwise, hitches can be simply mounted on the ride without any drilling or trimming.

With the trailer hitch heavily loaded with cargo, the brake controller gives the power to stop in time. Draw-Tite offers various electric brake controllers. These electronic devices supply power from tow vehicle to the trailer's electric brakes. There are two main groups for these controllers: the Proportional-based controls, which deliver smooth braking response that offers a direct proportional relationship between the vehicle's deceleration rate and braking power, and the Timed Brake Controllers, which are suitable for light-duty, economical, and basic towing requirements. These time-delayed controls have a predetermined amount of braking power and can be installed vertically, horizontally, or upside down.
