Fuel pump for Kia Sedona came quickly. It was an exact match. However the gasket was a little off. Two of the holes didn’t line up but I made them work. Fuel filter came separately and was 10 dollars extra. Found out I didn’t need it because a fuel filter was already inside the new fuel pump. Overall it seems to be alright with a much cheaper price than what I could buy it for at the local parts store.

Question: The original fuel pump has a ring I had to loosen with a hammer and punch. This drive motive pump has holes for screws. I do believe car parts .com sent me the wrong item for my 2005 Kia Sedona. The drive motive pump also has a 3rd socket for a wire harness and my van only has 2 wire harness?Jarris D. / Nov 13, 2021
Hi Jarris, I'm glad to assist you. This fuel pump is for without California emissions type and also matching production date from 03/21/2003 (without CA emissions noted on the fitment information). You probably need the one with CA emissions type. We do not carry the one with CA emissions type, however. Hi-
This fuel pump assembly with sending unit comes with a built in strainer already and seal. The main fuel filter is on the engine bay. This does not come with the fuel filter yet, you have to order it separately.

Hi Kevin, I'm glad to assist you. Please check if you have the CA or non-CA type of fuel pump assembly. The fuel pump you need should match your vehicle's ECM calibration. You have to be aware if your car has the CA evap emission type or not. A check engine light would show up if you put the wrong fuel pump. I hope this helps for now.
