What causes my Infiniti M30's engine to misfire?

If the combustion process in the chamber is incomplete, the engine misfires. One common cause of engine misfires is a problem in the ignition. When the spark plugs, distributor rotor and cap, or ignition coils and cables wear out, these worn-out components lose their ability to transfer the needed spark to ignite the fuel/air mixture in the combustion chambers.
