Lexus ES300 Guides

The Lexus ES300 is thought of by many critics as one of the best equipped automobiles in the industry. It has been staking out its own upscale territory eversince it came out for the 1992 model year. The Lexus ES300 is available as a 4-door midsize sedan, the only body trim it is obtainable as. A 3.0 liter DOHC V6 engine is the one which powers the vehicle for the sake of the conquests and adventures its owner wants to get it into.

The strength of the Lexus ES300 lies on its design, performance, reliability and quietness. People who own any one of its models rave about the fact that this particular vehicle delivers. This is obviously because the Lexus ES300 is engineered to survive the challenges posed by diverse factors. Most importantly, the parts that equip it lend it a hand whenever it gets itself into the direst of situations.

The Lexus ES300 parts that the Lexus ES300 employs make it the reliable vehicle that it is known as. These genuine parts meet exacting standards like superior quality, durability and safety requirements as set by Lexus itself. Lexus ES300 owners are guaranteed that there would be reduced cost of ownership in addition to the fact that the lives of their vehicles would be prolonged as a result of using these Lexus parts.

The Lexus ES300 is a vehicle known for possessing qualities that Lexus vehicles have always been known for. These qualities are luxury and quality, respectively. As far as their splendid kin is concerned, the global Toyota family could not be prouder. This midsize sedan packs all the noteworthy Lexus ES300 parts that have always been considered the reason for its greatness.

Lexus ES300: Life-Saving Maintenance Tips for Your Ride

Proper car maintenance is crucial not only to keep your Lexus ES300 in top shape but also to avoid costly repairs. Perhaps more important than both of these is the fact that proper car maintenance can spell the difference between life and death. Why? Well, because poorly maintained ride makes you more susceptible to road accidents. Below are simple tips to keep your ES300 functioning well and to keep you and your passengers safe during your every drive:

  • Keep your light lenses clean and clear at all times.

A dull or hazy headlight lens is not only a sore in the eye—it also poses real danger to all the vehicle occupants. It reduces the amount of light that gets through the lens and into the road, increasing the chance of getting into accidents due to loss of visibility. A clear lens is especially crucial when you're driving in bad weather. To keep your lenses in top shape, clean them regularly to remove dirt and dust.

  • Give your tires and rims some TLC.

Tires generally don't get the publicity they deserve. When you think about it, they're actually one of the most crucial parts of every vehicle. There are many tire and rim problems that can cause accidents—improper tire inflation, misaligned wheels, and balding tires are just some of these. Problems in the mounting and positioning of the wheels and tires can reduce your vehicle's fuel efficiency. These can also cause handling problems, which might soon be out of control and life-threatening. Therefore, you need to check your rims and tires once in a while. Ensure correct wheel alignment. Have the tires rotated at least every two years. And, always maintain correct tire pressure.

  • Perform regular mirror adjustment.

In your daily drives, you probably don't notice the mirror even though you glance at them once in a while when in traffic. In most cases, drivers also don't notice when the mirror is slightly moved and has changed angle—unless the change is major. Because of this reality, you need to consciously take the effort to check your mirror's angle regularly and to readjust as necessary. This will take very little effort but will go a long way in keeping you safe on the road.

  • Take care of your windshield wipers.

The windshield wipers seem to be among the components that you can leave on their own and expect to work as needed. And for the most part, they will work well without requiring much effort on maintenance. However, they're not immune to damage caused by aging and daily wear and tear. And when it suddenly rains while you're in the middle of traffic, you can't possible reach home safely without reliable wipers to keep your windshield clear. When it comes to windshield wipers, the rubber component is usually the part that succumbs to damage early on—the rubber gets brittle over time. When this happens, it's important to replace it to prevent damage on the windshield due to scratches and to ensure your safety during harsh weather drives.

Lexus’ Secret to Success: ES 300 and its 12 Glorious Years of Affordable Luxury

Lexus’ ES line, which was released in 1989, is a collection of luxury sedans under the mid-size category. The ES 300 is a simple but very powerful member of the ES family. It was only produced from the second generation up to the fourth generation of Lexus ES. But because of its comfortable cabin, high-quality performance, luxurious over-all design, and affordable price, the ES 300 was able to sustain the Lexus brand’s long-standing success.

The ES 250 sequel: ES 300 (1991-1996)

The first ES 300 model is the renamed version of the first generation ES 250. Like the rest of the six generations of Lexus ES, the original ES 300 unit was built on the Toyota Camry platform. It is also equipped with a front-wheel drive system and a V6 engine. The first batch of ES 300 was highly inspired by the Toyota Windom in terms of appearance. This refurbished version is considerably larger than ES 250 with a 5-inch increase in length and 3-inch increase in width. Its aerodynamic profile was improved by the integrated spoiler feature on the rear deck lid. Projector headlights, frameless window doors, keyless entry feature, and an eight-speaker sound system were also added.

The year 1994 brought a redesigned grille, new headlight assembly, and CFC-free air-conditioning system to the ES 300. The North American models adapted the all-aluminum 1MZ-FE engine during the same year. The ES 300 Coach Edition joined the ES family in 1995, and it came with a set of Coach luggage and an interior with Coach leather trim.

The upscale years: ES 300 (1996-2001)

The third generation of Lexus ES opened with the 1996 ES 300, which featured a longer but more lightweight body than its predecessor. The projector headlights were ditched and replaced with reflector headlamps, and the interior became more luxurious. It received the electro-luminescent Lexus Optitron panel and high-class leather seats. The suspension system received significant upgrades through the Adaptive Variable Suspension, which can adjust the wheel dampers in less than a second.

The 1998 ES 300 model had minor updates, which mainly focused on safety. Torso airbags were added in the front-row seats as well as the force limiting seatbelt pretensioners. The anti-theft feature was also reinforced through the transponder chips. The ES 300 welcomed the millennium with an improved fascia. Its interior received a new electro-chromatic mirror and an upgraded audio system. While the tail light assembly and the fog lights became clear for this year’s model, Xenon HID headlamps were offered as an option. A Platinum version was also released during the Lexus ES line’s third generation.

The last few years: ES 300 (2002-2003)

The last stretch of the ES 300’s existence was within the fourth generation of Lexus ES. The latest model released in 2001 for the 2002 model year was more spacious than the previous models. It also had a California Walnut trim, which covered the dash board as well as doors and the center console. Some of the features include electronic stability system, traction control system, drive-by-wire electronic throttle, and a five-speed automatic transmission.

Although the ES 300 label was discontinued in 2003, it retired with a bang after it was awarded with five stars in the Frontal Driver, Frontal Passenger, and Side Driver categories of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The ES 300 was also named as Lexus’ best-selling sedan and the best-selling luxury car in the United States during the period. The new ES 330 replaced the Lexus ES 300 in 2003.
