On the spring of 2004, the Scion xA reached American shores, and it was considered as one of the best economy cars of the year. 2006: Fresh start before an end
On its last year, the xA received a slight makeover with several modifications done. For instance, the lower air intake, headlights, taillights, wheel covers, and front grilles all underwent design upgrades. Going inside the car, the seat fabrics were also updated and the speedometer was transformed with the help of its new color. The steering wheel and sound system of the vehicle was also changed. In fact, the head design of its Pioneer audio system received an upgrade, and it featured a small port that made playing music from portable sources easy to play. With these minor modifications, the xA’s power ratings dropped to 103 from 108 after going through the new testing procedures of the SAE.
