The part was not calibrated correctly and made the speedometer read twice the speed of the vehicle. Driving 55-60mph registered as 120mph on the gauge. A trip to the dealership and a factory part immediately fixed the issue.

Question: I have a 2006 KIA Spectra EX 2.0L 4-cylinder. The speedometer sometimes works and sometimes doesn't I changed instrument cluster but as the same problem.Thing of replacing the speedometer sender, and the speed sensor can you tell me were they are located please?Dan V. / Jul 10, 2024
