Question: I need to replace pressure control solenoid “a” for 2009 Nissan murano is this what I need?Raul I. / Jul 24, 2021
Hello! I don't believe so. Pressure control solenoids are generally for your transmission, however, these products are for the variable valve timing in your cylinder head. What issues and fault codes do you have with your vehicle?

Question: 2013 Murano SV AWD. CODE P0300. Replaced coils, plugs and MAF sensor. Same code, vehicle stutters when taking off sometimes. And stutters when trying to maintain a speed typically under 555. I did turn OF off and did not experience the stutter. But it was using more gas and running a higher RPM. I have new fuel injectors, O2 sensors, cam and crankshaft sensors ordered. Should I be looking at the BBT as well?Bob H. / Aug 31, 2024
Hi Bob, I'm glad to assist you. Yes. It is guaranteed to fit. The BBT sensor can affect engine performance and fuel economy. While it's less likely to be the direct cause of the misfire, it's worth checking if you've eliminated other possibilities. A low fuel pressure can cause misfires. Ensure your fuel pump is functioning correctly and that there are no leaks in the fuel system. Still, it is best to consult your trusted local auto repair shop or mechanic for accurate troubleshooting and diagnostics.

Question: Pulling up codes P0011 and P0021 both intake valve timing control banks 1 and 2 on my 2014 Nissan Pathfinder would you recommend replacing the variable timing solenoids? Any other recommendations?Mcewans3 / Mar 27, 2024
Hi Eric, thank you for reaching out. I would recommend taking your vehicle to a professional repair shop. There are several reasons to those generic error codes, and I wouldn't be comfortable making a recommendation without physically inspecting the vehicle to pinpoint the part needing replacement. Thank you for inquiring. Have a nice day.
