These include your interior, the open spaces under the front hood, and the trunk. The soaked cottons balls need to be changed once every two weeks. To further utilize the oil, create a peppermint spray by mixing 1 ounce of peppermint oil and 1 ounce of water. Apply the repellant spray around the perimeter of your car, the front hood, the trunk lid, and the car door.

• Open the front hood and the trunk lid.
