Simple Guide for Fast Repair of Your Nissan Fender

- Dent puller (optional)
- Drill and drill bits
- Grinder or sandpaper (180- and 300-grit)
- Body filler
- Plastic squeegee
- Primer and preferred auto paint
- Clear coat paint
- Microfiber towel and wax remover
- Masking tape, old newspapers, and rags
Step 1:Using a body hammer, you can hammer out the dent from behind by getting under your Nissan fender, either through the hood or through the trunk. Make sure not to use too much force. If it isn't possible for you to access to the side of the fender, you can use a dent puller. All you have to do is to drill small holes in the center and near the center of the dent. Then, secure the dent puller's screw tip in the hole and carefully pull out the dent by pumping the puller's handle up and down. Keep on doing this motion until all of the holes are finished. Step 4: When the area is ready for priming, cover the surrounding area with old newspapers to protect them against paint splashes. With the area covered properly, apply wax remover using a towel. Then, spread a thick coat of primer. Allow 30 minutes for the primer to completely dry. When dry, use 300-grit sandpaper to smooth out the area and wipe some wax remover again.
Step 5: Apply around three coats of paint, giving each coat 15 minutes drying time. Do measured, even horizontal strokes to guarantee proper coverage with the layers slightly overlapping. When the body paint has completely dried, apply three layers of clear coat paint using the same process as the body paint.
Step 6: When completely dry, remove the masking tape and newspapers.
