Question: Hey Buying replacement for passenger side 2017 maxima Sl. I already own my own LED's that I will install. Wanted to know the difference standard and CAPA Certified? is this only about the halogen bulbs or the Headlight Housing?Chiny A. / Jan 20, 2022
Hi Chiny, I'm pleased to assist you. This headlight does not fit the 2017 Nissan Maxima SL. We do have the direct-fit Halogen passenger-side headlight compatible with the vehicle. You can replace the bulbs with LEDs. The only difference between CAPA (Certified Automotive Parts Association) and the standard is the yellow sticker at the back. The standard part is just as good, but the manufacturer chooses not to pursue CAPA certification in order to cut costs. The CAPA and Non-CAPA are exactly the same parts in every way (bulbs and housing).
